KATONYA MADDOX

Director of Business Administration

Katonya Maddox is the Business Administrator for Bennett Legal. Katonya was born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Katonya obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in Psychology from Hamline University in 2007. Katonya started her career in helping at-risk juveniles in a group home setting and then moved on to become a Juvenile Correctional Officer, and later in her career Katonya became an Office Administrator for the Hennepin County Juvenile Probation Department. Katonya has over 14 years of experience working with juveniles in a variety of settings.

Katonya later moved to Dallas, Texas in 2013 where she started her Texas career as a Juvenile Case Manager for the City of Plano assisting with the juvenile court docket and Teen Court Program. Katonya later became the first Juvenile Case Manager for the City of Wylie and started their first Teen Court and Truancy Court Diversion Programs.

Katonya completed her Master of Science in Studies in Human Behavior from Capella, University in 2015. Katonya started working with Bennett Legal in 2019 and helped coordinate the beginning of Trial Structure, LLC, now Justice College. Katonya has enjoyed growing with the company, and being the “Oprah and Zen” of the office. In her free time, Katonya loves to spend time traveling with her husband and their three-year-old Boxer- Creed, singing at church, reading books, and playing video games.
